Sharknado is the peak of trash cinema, with flying sharks and tornadoes colliding in an explosion of absurdity. You can't miss it.

Why watch Sharknado? Madness at its best

Get ready: you're about to step into the wonderful world of Sharknado, a movie that dares to take two of your biggest fears – tornadoes and sharks – and mix them into an explosive cocktail of pure madness. It’s as if someone thought, "You know what modern cinema needs? Flying sharks. And maybe a few actors pulled from a corner bar." It’s a movie that feels like a lost bet, yet here it is, ready to entertain you with the grace of an elephant on roller skates.

How Sharknado made flying sharks fun

The plot of Sharknado is as simple as it is brilliant: a tornado forms and, for some bizarre reason only Mother Nature on steroids could explain, starts sucking sharks out of the ocean. These sharks, naturally, are not at all happy about being yanked from their habitat and, quite rightly, decide to take revenge by biting everything that moves... or no, wait, they even bite things that don’t move. It’s as if someone thought, "You know what would make tornadoes scarier? Sharks." And instead of laughing it off, someone actually made a movie about it..

Sharknado: when the weather goes wild and sharks fly

The main character is Finn (yes, Finn, like a shark’s fin. Subtle, huh?), an unlikely hero who, armed with a chainsaw and probably a temp contract, decides to fight off this rain of sharks. Alongside him are characters that make even a pen holder seem charismatic, but they're there, ready to be devoured by flying sharks in scenes that defy logic, gravity, and basic cinematic sense.

Sharknado: so bad it’s irresistible

Sharknado isn’t a movie, it’s an experience. And like all experiences that leave you questioning if you're really seeing what you’re seeing, it will keep you glued to the screen until the end. It’s the perfect movie for a night when you want to turn off your brain, or maybe even the remote, and let yourself be swept away by a ridiculous plot that makes weather forecasts a lot more interesting.

Sharknado: the most absurd film ever analyzed

There’s a certain beauty in the well-orchestrated chaos of Sharknado. The direction seems determined to never take itself too seriously, yet at the same time, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The cinematography, well, it’s what you’d expect from this kind of film: lots of green on green screen and a constant downpour of special effects that look like they came from a 90s video game. And the costumes... oh, the costumes. If you’re looking for jackets that can survive

Why I Recommend It

You should watch Sharknado because it’s an examination of human flaws. It brings out our desire to control nature, and fail miserably. But hey, at least there are flying sharks.

Why I Don't Recommend It

You shouldn’t watch Sharknado because it will make you question your faith in human intelligence. If someone was able to write, produce, and distribute this movie, what’s left for us?
